Sometimes occasions call for a basic bread recipe. Something that comes together quicker than a sourdough without sacrificing quality craftsmanship.These breads are great for sandwiches or serving with soups.

  • Talk about the importance of good quality flour and how to source it
  • Learn the basics of working with yeasted dough;
    • Fresh yeast vs. dried yeast
    • Hand-kneading vs. using a stand mixer
    • Effects of longer resting periods (fermentation)
  • Learn the importance of having the right kitchen kit
  • Learn the hidden ingredients in bread baking (time, temperature, and the best tool – your hands)

  • A fresh-baked loaf of bread to take home
