We Support
Responsibly Produced, Alberta-Sourced Ingredients.
At Awn Kitchen we work to support local farmers, producers, and businesses wherever we can.
Whether that means buying flour, produce or meat directly from the farmer, or supporting a local shop that knows their wine or spices, using a small local business to run our website, or working with organizations around Edmonton and the province who are building the community and connecting people.
We feel that we have some of the best of the best in terms of ingredients right on our door step, being grown or produced by passionate, hardworking people. Of course there are things in the “hungry months,” that are difficult to source locally, or ingredients that aren’t produced locally, that’s when we turn to local shops who are bringing these ingredients to us. This is a huge part of what we do, and it’s why we have included this page on our website, so you can learn about some of the people we support in our kitchen every day.
Alberta Wheat
