There are few doughnuts that can be bought in a shop that compare to a fresh made doughnut at home. Our famous Friday-doughnut is everything a doughnut should be: soft, light, fluffy, not too sweet, and just the right amount of filling! Now you can learn how to make them too.
In this class:
- Learn how to make doughnut dough
- Learn about working with yeasted dough:
- Fresh yeast vs. dried
- Machine vs. hand-kneaded
- Resting at room temperature vs. cold temperature
- Shape, proof and fry doughnuts
- Make vanilla creme patisserie and learn how to fill the doughnuts
What to expect:
- A meal that we will work together to prepare
- A hands-on class where you can do as you learn (dress comfortably and ready to cook!)
- A recipe pack of what was prepared in class as well as extra filling recipes
