A fresh-made bagel is hard to resist, and that mysterious hole in the centre! The ring-shape helps for even baking and historically, the hole meant stacks of bagels could be threaded for ease of transport. The class brings the art of making a chewy bagel ready for toppings to you.

  • Long vs. short fermentation times
  • How to shape, boil and bake a bagel
  • Ideas for toppings and ways to serve bagels
What to expect:
  • A meal that we will work together to prepare
  • A hands-on class where you can do as you learn (dress comfortably and ready to cook!)
  • A recipe pack of what was prepared in class
