Awn Cinnamon Buns

$1.00

Thursday | June 2, 2022 | 6:30PM – 9PM

This course, taught by Jennifer Peralta or Kaelin, is suitable for anyone who is keen to get into the kitchen baking. No previous bread baking experience is required. In this course we will work through the basics of working with yeasted doughs – from the difference between fresh yeast and dried yeast, to hand-kneading vs using a stand mixer, to longer resting periods (fermentation), to the importance of ingredients and kitchen kit. We will dig into the hidden ingredients in bread baking (time, temperature, and the best tool – your hands), and you’ll leave with confidence to be able to bake your enriched and sweet doughs at home. Each student will make half a batch of Awn Cinnamon Buns to take home. This class is designed to take your bread-baking to the next level with an understanding what the addition of sugar, milk, and egg will do to a dough.

Included in this course fee is a meal and an in-depth recipe pack.
